Training for Eco-migrants

On September 22-25, Training upon employment and entrepreneurial skills were delivered for the eco-migrants in Ozurgeti. Eco-migrants, potential eco-migrants and local youth were involved in the trainings. The participants were informed upon the skills and prospects necessary for employment. Training included the following issues: how to compose Resume, search a vacant position, hot to prepare for job interview (body language, dress code, image), how to realize one’s own potential/abilities.
Project beneficiaries were also provided with detailed information upon the documents necessary for registering as an entrepreneurial subject, acting business regulations and relevant legislative initiatives.
Training participants expressed a particular interest towards learning the development of the Business Plan. Relevantly, they were delivered a theoretical as well as practical course upon developing a business Plan and implementing Business Ideas.
Within the project framework, Ozurgeti Young Scientists’ Club is
analyzing the “Survey of Ecol-migrants’ needs; a photo-contest ”My neighbor eco-migrant” is also planned. Project “Eco-migrants in Guria – Needs and Prospects” is implemented with the support of EU-funded project “Campaign for advocacy of eco-migrant and potential eco-migrant families”.
