He thinks that without modern technologies and office programs, it will be difficult to get employed at the labour market without modern technologies and office programs, he pays particular attention to raising qualification, especially a foreign language.

G.T. is a former inmates and nowadays, he is working as a freelancer, producing web-sites in various design. Initially, he got only entertained with compute games, though for some years he got seriously interested with internet technologies. In the recent period, web-site was produced for up to 10 Georgian organizations, planning cooperation with the business companies of the international level, for which English language knowledge could be very useful.

“There are many English sites, with access to free computer programs and knowledge of these programs will assist me in developing new designs. Currently, I am mainly cooperating with Georgian companies, though similar activity is rather low-compensated in Georgia, International Companies pay considerably serious honorary in web-design. English language is one of the preventing factor for me. I speak English only at the minimal level, though this is not sufficient. When being contacted by one the social workers and suggested formation of the English Language Club, I agreed with joy: - says the Institute of Democracy beneficiary.

Similar to G.T., other former inmates, probationers and inmates’ family members are also involved in English Language program of the Institute of Democracy, being formed one month ago and incorporating the listeners of various age group.

According to the Club trainer Dalila Mkhatvari, despite of the age difference in groups everyone is equally willing to master Foreign Language through funny activities together with theoretical materials.

Peace Corps Volunteer Leiasha Soams is also actively involved in English Language learning. Together with the trainer, the volunteers also delivers lessons, being a unique opportunity for the listeners to gain experience directly from the native speaker.

English Language Courses are run in the frame of the Program for strengthening former inmates. The project is being implemented by Guria Youth Resource Center, Tanaziari and Foundation Abkhazinterkont together with the Institute of Democracy.
