These and other issues were discussed in details by the listeners accompanied by practical examples, some of them even created web-page of their companies and shared the first post.
Other listeners also became Facebook page administrators of their own companies and planned the activities for the future.
The training was attended by the representatives of various professions. Painter-designer, sanitary technician, furniture artisan, stylist. Some of them have already a successful business, part of the listeners are planning to launch their own business in the future, in which training will significantly assist.
22-year old beneficiary Akaki Bukia is one of the beneficiaries being supported with the project. He runs a small-size bakery, contacting the organization “Tanaziari” after having been informed about small grant from his friends. He developed a project and was involved in the project supporting former inmates, inmates’ families and probationers. He purchases the equipment necessary for the bakery with a small grant.
The listeners together with various successful business companies discussed Facebook page, as well as created their own page with the help of practical work and shared for the first time public information.
G.T. is a former inmates and nowadays, he is working as a freelancer, producing web-sites in various design. Initially, he got only entertained with compute games, though for some years he got seriously interested with internet technologies. In the recent period, web-site was produced for up to 10 Georgian organizations, planning cooperation with the business companies of the international level, for which English language knowledge could be very useful.
Currently, many people are using the mopeds for transportation in Georgia. Due to economy, available price and the fact that driving license is no longer needed for driving, moped is becoming more and more popular
Former inmate was working in the wooden workshop before imprisonment. He was sure that he would be back to his old craft after imprisonment, though majority of his tools were not found in the wooden workshop after custody.
The medicines and optical glasses prescribed by the doctor-ophthalmologist will be purchased by the Institute of Democracy in the frame of the project supporting former inmates, inmates’ families and probationers. 16 beneficiaries participated in the Medical Action. Similar Medical Action is also planned for former inmates in Guria, Samegrelo-Upper Svaneti and Imereti region.
Similar evaluations were left at the end of the trainings by the listeners. Majority of attendants decided to advertise their own business during the training, jointly discussing webs-sites and advertisements of various business companies through practical assignments.
