Target Groups:
Children in conflict with law, police departments functioning in Adjara region, Prosecutor’s and Court Bodies, Probations Services, Batumi Prison No3, Public Schools functioning in Adjara region.
Principal Aims:
- Providing lawyers’ service for the juveniles on the territory of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara (Batumi, Khelvachauri, Kobuleti, Keda, Shuakhevi, and Khulo) from the moment of arrest. Ensuring attendance of a qualified lawyer, pedagogue and psychologist at the primary interrogation.
- Improvement of juveniles living conditions in Batumi Prison No 3, promoting formation of Juveniles’ Rehabilitation mechanism under prison conditions and their advocacy;
- Rehabilitation and public reintegration of the juveniles released from police departments and custody, promoting their starting a normal way of life;
- Accomplishment of methodology to work with difficult juveniles in15 public schools of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara and promoting result-oriented mechanisms. Activation of work wit school psychologists and promoting formation of actions standards.
