DEVELOPMENT OF NON-STATE SECTOR POTENTIAL AND CAPABILITY IN ADJARA REGION

Place of Implementation: Adjara Region (Batumi, Khelvachauri, Kobuleti, Keda, Shuakhevi, Khulo)
Duration: 30 months (February 1, 2009 – July 31, 2011).
Partner: Kobuleti Lawyers’ Association.
Target Groups:
- Entrants (pupils) living in Adjara region (Batumi, Khelvachauri, Kobuleti, Keda, Shuakhevi, Khulo);
- Citizens willing to master a certain profession;
- Citizens applying legal consultations and service;
- NGO staff and personnel;
- Co-workers and management of business organizations functioning in target municipalities.

Principal Aims:
- Formation of sustainable mechanism of non-state sector in Adjara region by foundation and development of “Local Grant Foundation”.
- Foundation and development of “Local Education and Development Centres” on the basis of Institute of Democracy in all six municipalities of Adjara.
