Implementation site: Ajara region (Batumi, Kobuleti, Khelvachauri, Keda, Shuakhevi, Khulo).
Duration: 12 months (June 1, 2013 – July 1, 2014).
Project goals:
– Strengthening free legal centre in high-mountainous Ajara (in Keda Municipality, at the base of the Institute of Democracy meocracy);
– Free legal consultation for all category of cases in high-mountainous municipalities of Ajara region;
– Free advocacy service for vulnerable and marginal families living in in high-mountainous Ajara (Keda, Shuakhevi, Khulo);
– Arrangement of trip consultations in high-mountainous municipalities (Visit of lawyers’ group with previously agreed schedule);
– Supporting legal education in the communities/villages of high-mountainous municipalities of Ajara region by exposing the individuals with leadership skills, teaching and activation;
– Improvement of labour conditions of the individuals engaged in public and private sector and protection of the individuals illegally released from jobs.
