Project: New Prospects for Young Mothers in Adjara

Purpose: Supporting young (adolescent) married women

Main directions:

This project will conduct training for adolescent mothers and potential mothers in 5 municipalities of Adjara. The training will have the following learning goals:

  • Civil rights;
  • Reproductive health issues;
  • Child’s health and development;
  • Future Education/employment options;
  • Women's rights advocacy with identification of "Future Leaders"

Project target groups:

  • Adolescent aged married women (up to age 18);
  • Women that were married as adolescents (up to age 26).

Project area: Kulo, Shuakhevi, Keda, Khelvachauri and Kobuleti municipalities.

Project period: November 1, 2017 - February 28, 2018
