Project: Optimizing Local Potential for Rural Development in Keda Municipality

Objectives of the project: Poverty reduction in Keda municipality with inclusive approaches, promoting employment; income growth of the local rural population. This to be achieved through optimal utilization of existing local potential and with the support of rural development policies.

The main direction of the project is:

  • Creating and strengthening the Local Action Group (LAG);

  • Development and approval of the Village Development Strategy for Gender and Youth Aspects for Keda Municipality;

  • Implementing innovative projects with strategic directions through subgroups;

Project duration: 1 May 2017 - 21 February 2020 year.

The project is funded by the European Neighborhood Program for Agriculture and Rural Development, ENPARD- within the Caucasus Environmental NGO Network for Strategic Research and Development Foundation (CSRDG), the Institute of Democracy (IOD) and the Austrian Institute for Regional Studies and Spatial Planning Tut with (ÖIR) collaboration.
