Project: Reduction of carbon emissions from outdoor lighting in the Batumi municipality

Project activity: Installation of a solar powered lighting system in the square near Shapatava and Marukhi streets.

The main activities of the project are:

• Establishment of a coordination group

• Implementation of research

• Introducing research results to interested parties

• Exploration of technical tasks for the implementation

• Purchase and installation of photovoltaic lights

• A campaign to inform the public about the project

Project objectives: Reduction of carbon emissions from outdoor lighting within the Covenant of Mayors in Batumi Municipality.
