Zeinab Turmanidze is the winner of the startup grants competition

Here we are telling the story of Zeinabi.
Zeinab Turmanidze is the winner of the startup grants competition.

We met her for the first time within the Coaching program of Institute of Democracy.

While Zeinab participating in the personal growth program, we learned about her interests that she sews beautiful flowers by hand and creates various family decorations. As a result, Zeinab joined an internship program, gained professional experience, had her customers during the internship, and wished to manage her own Nail Salon. The Ajara Employment Agency provided support for professional internship.

After the internship program, Zeinab took part in the startup grants competition of Institute of Democracy, and along with the selected participants, went through an intensive course in entrepreneurial education. In the end, she won and now Zeinab has own Beauty Salon in the village.

Short-term professional training/retraining educational program of a Nail Care Specialist has been implemented under Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC) sub-program "Professional training and employment promotion of disabled persons" by the Employment Agency of the Autonomous Republic of Ajara within the framework of providing training services.
