What problems are faced by Guria residents settlement of which is within the competence of Municipal Council? – For settling petition issues Guria residents gathered at the Democratic Engagement Center. 

For the first time at Khulo Municipal Council

Within the frame of the Institute of Democracy project “Petition – People’s Voice in Self-Governance” supported by USAID, consideration of five petitions initiated by the population was launched. As the practice of settling the issue 

Petitions initiated by the citizens considered in Keda Municipality

Within the frame of the Institute of Democracy project “Petition – People’s Voice in the Self-governance” five petitions initiated by the citizens were presented to Keda Municipal Council. 
Petition initiator citizens requested:

Discussion of the petitions initiated by the citizens launched in the self-governances of Khulo Municipality

Within the frame of the project “Petition – People’s Voice in the Self-governance” by the Institute of Democracy five petitions initiated by the Citizens were referred to Khulo Municipal Council.  The initiators of the petitions requested:  

“We are made to live under African conditions and requested European standards” – Didachara resident

The representatives of “The Institute of Democracy”  introduced the project “Petition – People’s Voice in the Self-Governance” to the residents of Didachara

Working meeting in Chkhorotsku Governing Board

In 2016 within the frame of the project “Petition – People’s Voice in the Self-Governance” seven petitions signed by 2450 local residents on actual problems were submitted to Chkhorotsku Municipality by the Institute of Democracy.
